Click analytics answer the question a shortener alone cannot: did anyone actually click, and who were they? MiniLy records every click on every link automatically—total clicks, unique visits, country, device, browser, OS, and referrer—with no setup and no tracking pixel to install.

The honest framing: this is aggregate event analytics, not a full marketing-analytics suite. MiniLy counts click events and groups them into useful breakdowns. It does not build cross-site visitor profiles, run conversion funnels, or do multi-touch attribution. If you want privacy-respecting click data on your links, this fits. If you need a full product-analytics platform, it does not.

Location is derived from the visitor's IP using a local GeoIP database, so geolocation works without sending data to a third-party service for every click.

Tracking is on by default. The moment a link exists, clicks start flowing into your dashboard in real time. What you see depends on your plan:

• Free gives a global dashboard: total clicks, top 3 countries, a 7-day engagement chart, and your last 10 clicks—across all your links combined.
• Pro unlocks per-link and per-tag analytics, the full date range with grouping by hour/day/week/month, city-level location, traffic-source breakdowns, device/browser/OS detail, a live mode that streams clicks without refreshing, and unlimited paginated click history.

You can export your link and click data to CSV from the dashboard—this works on the free plan too, which is handy for your own reporting.

Analytics turn guesses into evidence:

• Campaign comparison: give each channel its own link and read clicks per source to see what is working.
• Audience insight: country and device splits tell you where and how people open your links—useful for deciding mobile-first design or regional timing.
• Referrer tracking: see which sites and platforms actually send traffic, not which ones you assumed would.
• Reporting: export to CSV and drop the numbers into your own spreadsheet or deck.

Because all click data is stored indefinitely, historical comparison is possible—though the on-screen chart range is limited on Free.

Clear about the ceilings: on Free, the dashboard is global only. You cannot drill into a single link or tag, the engagement chart is capped at 7 days, location stops at the top 3 countries, and you see only the last 10 clicks. Per-link analytics, city-level data, traffic sources, device/OS breakdowns, and live mode are Pro features (5 EUR/month).

Beyond plan tiers, MiniLy deliberately does not do certain things: no individual visitor tracking or fingerprinting, no cross-site cookies, no selling of data, and no third-party ad networks—this is a privacy choice, not an oversight. It also means there is no conversion tracking, no funnel analysis, and no multi-touch attribution, and no public analytics API. MiniLy measures clicks well; it is not a substitute for a dedicated web-analytics or attribution platform.
